... crashes on MOS.

Something along the lines of sysinternals' ProcessMonitor (for Widnows) -- any suggestions?

The program in question is not a game, and I see no reason for it to be doing any direct hardware stuff (and maybe it isn't). Mainly this is just to satisfy my curiosity.
