Just reinstalled my mac mini and realized that startup sound is pretty loud.

I installed dual boot MorphOS and MacOS9, some people have hacked drivers for that and its working pretty good, but it does not have way to adjust boot sound volume.

So I started to think would is be possible to adjust from MorphOS. I found nvram.resource, but there is no any headers for that nor documentation.

Assumption that there is just some read/write functions and possibly some semaphore stuff like other resources have.

I already wrote tet which opens resource and dumps memory around "handle". There was content of nvram in my dumps.

Anyway, I'd like to write command line application which can backup and restore nvram content and read and write boot sound sound volume.

If anyone has headers for that resource or any ideas, please let me know.

No need for that. Bootsound is adjustable in MorphOS-Prefs! (Ohh Tolkien was first.... :-) )
