I'd say it's significant, not major, and something you can definitely live with it.
The memory bandwidth of 9250 is 73% of 9000 Pro, guess that is the value that matters the most.
I think the real question is, why specifically look for
worse gfx card, while you could first look for 8500 / 9100, then 9000 Pro, then 9200, and if all previous fail, the 3rd best option, 9250.
I assumed there was something wrong with OS4's 9000 Pro support, since people
always seem to recommend worse models (9200, 9250), but I guess that isn't the case?
Also worth noting, apparently 9250's are available without DVI, if you end up getting worse gfx card, better make sure the model you get has it (although, as with slower gfx card, you
can live with VGA too...)
And don't forget that some manufacturers might have the same model slightly worse than others!
