I had a mini with a 1.5Ghz G4 in it, and honestly, I didn't feel the experience was that much better than with my eMac. The extra RAM was certainly nice, but I found the DVD-Rom to be a little flaky as were the USB ports.
Granted it ain't half the nightmare that the Efika is, but still I was not satisfied and felt like I needed a unit with slots for cards and the whole nine yards. With USB I could not use USB sound card or MIDI adapters so again with the mini my system felt really confined. Then again I don't know what your uses are so you may not need a MorphOS system that comes with all the ports that are better supported.
