I was the one asking him to make some butterflies in the first place :) I've also asked him if we wanted to try to install a Mac Mini inside an X500 case and he liked the idea.

I'm going to order a custom keyboard from him, but my butterfly key will be in black/white on a beige key instead.

Has he asked to get one? I got the impression that he will get one himself and try installing it in an X500 one of these days. He seems to be an hobbyist, and not a semi-pro who ask people for stuff in return for stuff.

Yes he did in past. People asked can it fit Mac Mini (might be you) answer was likely but he has not one to test and video it, no joke.
