Sure, I might do it. Despite how huge the G5 tower is, its expandability is almost nonexistent. I'd like to throw a Catweasel in my G5, but there are exactly zero slots to put a 3.5 and/or 5.25 floppy drive in. The 2x internal 3.5 slots are on the thin side too.
Then there is the aesthetics of the case. I've seen some pretty nice full size PC gaming cases lately.
Valid point about the hard drive bays.
Only having two does seem a bit silly.
I can't find a Catweasel to buy so that is out for me.
And I'd like to move to a PCI-E G5 (if it is ever supported), and that wouldn't have PCI slots.
But man would a G5 in another case be huge.
