aready bored everyone to death about this already I've got a 2.7GHz version that someones put an air cooled dual 2.0MHz CPU board into. Works fine, at 2.0MHz, so a bit slower than 2.7 but 8GB of Ram, and no liquid cooling nightmairs.
Don't get me wrong, I am considering a liquid cooling system for use in my Sun Ultra 20 case (almost a perfect case for this) with an 8 core AMD processor running at 5 GHz.
I just think Apple's decision was pure marketing hype, and possibly a way to embarrass IBM.
And this kind of complication is out of place in a consumer product.
