AFAIK no, as the UDMA state machine of the MPC5200B is buggy. And using BestComm DMA as an alternative was tried but entailed other problems (there were statements in the MorphOS mailing list in 2010 from laire and Bigfoot about distorted graphics in software-rendered Quake).

BestComm DMA may work reliably under Linux, but as said in my previous posting, the MorphOS Team tried to implement it but said they had failed to get it to work properly. That was in 2006 or 2007.
You can see the distorted Quake graphics in BestComm mode there:

Is it a Quake only problem? MOS offers much more possibilities than running Quake. So if a very little amount of programs or games have problems but the majority not - then this little amount should not be considered.

I had a DMA enabled version of MorphOS even before first release and it caused bit errors on Harddrive, which are AFAIR triggered by other DMA operations.

Also a friend (he may correct my memory here) of mine did some testing with GFX, HDD wrting (DMA enabled) and Network at the same time on linux, with the same result of randomly false bits.

I see. So the board itself is flawed.

    "DMA assisted PIO"
Yeah right... Call it DMA if you want. Even if the technic itself is really a cool idea, this doesn't change the fact this is PIO for the rest of the world.

    No, "just" the 5200B SoC.
