    I am running a mac g5 2.3ghz with 9600 video card on mos 3.2 and scube displays junk when rotating to a different screen.
    You can still get to the other screen, it just shows junk in the rotating box.
    What system do you run and does it work?

    It seems to be a R300+ driver issue.

    The same here on an 9600P gfx card, screen switching ok but junk on the rotating box :-(
    Perhaps it could be fixed...

    There are also issues under RV250/280! On Pegsasos with Radeon 9250 the SCUBE1.1 runs horrible slow. This is caused by the new tinygl.library. Useing Scube1.0 with the old tinygl.library from MOS2.x gives full speed, but has some incompatibilities to a few other applications (eg. some demos and grafical Aminetradio-plugins, Blender).......
    Peg2, 3xPowerMac G5, 2xPowerbookG4, 2x MacMiniG4, Efika (again), A3000T and life is never boring.....

    Under MOS 3.3 the problems have'nt changed.......on Pegasos2/Radeon9xxx horrible slow and on my Powerbook G4 it's unusable (junk during rotation).......
    I use the old tinygl.library from MOS2.x and Scube 1.0 on Pegasos, which works well - but not on Powerbook.....

    Thats too bad - this was always a little sensation when showing it to my PC-friends - and I loved it to switch between screens...(on Powerbook I use Dragon instead now...)

    It's in Kiero's page linked a couple of posts above. Gonna try it myself later on my PowerBook and report back.

    Yes it's a sympathetic little tool that I often used but it doesn't work anymore, not even the v 1.1 :-(
    I wrote to Kiero about that but no new version yet...
    Hopefully he fixes this and does a new version with some more features, like beiing able to select the 5th and 6th side of the cube, etc.

    I am reviving this old thread since it's been a year that SCube (and SZoom) have stopped working (when R300 support was introduced) :( Given the fact that there is no alternative to both of them, does anybody know if Kiero will try to fix them or rewritte them? Has anybody heard some news?

    Just to clarify, it worked on R200 previously, but not on R300. However, starting with MorphOS 3.6, it should work on R300 too. At least it does for me ;)

    Experience Scube 1.1 under MOS3.6, RV280 (PEG2/1GHz, Radeon9200):

    Scube is running very slow when useing keyboard only to move. Useing mouse will give a quick rotation. Zooming is in both cases terrible slow. During rotation are artefacts (small grid-like lines) on cube-surfaces.....and CPU- usage is 99%.

    @bigfoot

    Hi!

    I updated my system to MorphOS 3.6 and when running SCube I get trashed graphics at the background graphics (sky) of the cube. Previously I just got trashed graphics everywhere.

    As for SZoom, when used it cuts my screen horizontally and it flips it (!). Previously I got just trashed graphics with with lines.

    This is on latest MorphOS on a PMAC G4 with 2x AGP Radeon 9800 PRO 256MB VRAM.

    @Amigaharry2

    Did that worked for you?

    @Cool_amigaN: Yes, works perfect on my PEG2 (CPU-load about 78%), but you may have some incompatibilities with some newer software, like Blender a.s.o.. Just try and check it.....

    Works fine here on G5 2.7 with Radeon X800. There are few horizontal and vertical lines on the screen but still works ok.

    Yea, I have the same here, also on a G5 2.3 GHz with 9600 Pro 256 MB GFX card :-(
    It would really be great to have this litte tool updated, it's quite handy when one works with several screens open, just need to press ctrl+tab, no need to get the mouse and to the menu. Well I know LEFTCOMMAND+M does it but scube is nice ;-)
