PCI-X to PCI-E adapter

    Seems like we could try experimenting with PCI-E (on G5s a least, I'm not sure this would work on the slower 64 bit PCI? slots of the G4).

    Yes, I remember discussing it.
    But we will soon have systems that can support this.
    I wouldn't mind having a half-height X1300 in my G5.

    There's a compatible ROM for this? Or do you mean running it as a secondary graphics card and having it initialized by the MorphOS Radeon driver?

    That would be about the only way to get it running.
    Actually, right now instead of speculating about what could be I'm focused on what will be.
    I've got my 9800Pro flashed and have secured a G5.
    3.2 looks promising.
