Any chance of eSATA for Powerbook G4?
PCMCIA slot seems like the only way.
Not sure it can handle the speeds though.
Would like something better than usb 2.
Wainting on Helios 3 from YomGUI. Already spoke to him on this.

From what I understand PCMCIA (aka cardbus) is handled as PCI, so driver should work with something like this:

Well, if it was an NEC chipset then I'd be closer to believing it also.
Poseidon likes NEC.

And what would Poseidon have to do with SATA ????????

AFAIK know there are no drivers for any SATA controller by NEC, the SIL3112 on the other side is well supported allready (as a PCI card).
