I just noticed that if I install a PCI USB 2.0 card (VIA chipset) into my FW800 MorphOS loses the onboard USB 1.1 ports

    Can anyone confirm this ?

Heard someone else having that issue... Mine works great, but I have a NEC chipset USB. Believe it's a Belkin card.

I just ran into the same problem with my powermac 3,4 after inserting an USB card.

Onboard somehow failed completely. My solution was to delete envarc:sys/Poseidon.prefs and reboot.

Since then all problems are gone.

check poseidon prefs but afaik all FW800 has onboard USB 2.0 and morphos since 3.0 knows that it is usb2.0

Thanks geit, deleting the prefs helped here too.

And you are right zukow, onboard is 2.0 (the keyboard hub is 1.1)

I lose a single port. I will try to delete the prefs also.
