    you can also try fixing you IP adress (i don't know how under MOS)

    says if your router gives adresses like 192.168.1.xx and subnet 255.255.255.0

    you can fix your mos machine with 192.168.1.20 subnet 255.255.255.0 and don't forget the DNS or you won't be able to resolve names.
