I have an issue with MorphOS video output screen. THe problem I have is that when I hook it to a TV even after I hook it to the VGA port of the TV nothing happens, it is black screen.
When I take the system to work and hook it on the monitor there (albiet it is an old 15" LCD monitor) the gray screen appears for MorphOS then black scree no screen output. I see as if signal send to the screen but turn black again and the power LED of the monitor flashes but no screen output. Sometimes I remove the VGA cable and switch sides and it works but when it works and it shows signal to the monitor 30% of the screen are jibberish line as it is sending 10 Khz signal to the bottom screen of the monitor and therefore not displaying the screen fully. It is all jibbersih and colourful flickering gibberish image and when I move the MophOS window there it is eaten up by that part of the screen.
When I play Windows based game it works ok (except with that annoying 30% of the screen flickering at the bottom and jibberish images) but when I play games that is window based screen the monitor turns black and there is no rescue to it. It is finished!
Now when I take the Mac Mini MorphOS system into my home and hook it to my latest brand new spanking only one year old monitor LCD I do not see the boot up screen of MorphOS and then go to the desktop.
In the desktop on the bottom and right side of the screen and it is consuming 30% of each side the same symptoms as the old monitor I am describing about but the rest of the screen is visible...I can play windows game and FULL blown full screen game and when the game goes to full screen it goes perfect without any problems what so and the entire screen is filled with the game screen with no issue and when I reboot the system there is no problem of the monitor not working anymore and there is no problem of constantly switching VGA sides between Mac Mini and Monitor.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciate it.
One final question, does MorphOS support wireless internet for MacMini?
I have went into the reference monitor and changed the resolution from the very high resolution close to 1920 with 24 bit to a lower resolution 10247 X 760 with 16 bit and for some reason in the monitor at home it works 100000000% all the problems I mentioned went away...pooooooooooooooffff!!!
Now I saved the setting as is...I want to test this in on work Monday. If it works correctly then the people at work can play games with it, and so far when it was working they loved the system and the games and the performance of it all.
