Looks like the memory speed is hurting this test. A good result, only beat by 1.67Ghx Powerbook with MOS 3.0, but tied with MacMini 1.5ghz.

    Where is this mythical bricks_and_water_plugin.blend?

    Where's this mythical Powerbook 3.0 you mean ... :-?

Don't mean to brag, or anything like that, but G4 PowerBook's w/MorphOS3.0 beta certainly do exist.

I am lucky enough to have shown them at the 2011 AmiWest Show last Oct. in Sacramento, California.

I use my G4 PowerBook daily (in MacOSX mode though, until the MorphOS3.0 wireless networking is perfected).

More delay, sorry to those interested. Nothing like a death in the family to get you distracted and put your head in the wrong place. Anyhow, got AmigaMark 1.1 working so this is a dump from the Quicksilver. I will update the original post when I am done with both machines.

Ok, now more testing with the MDD. This is a raw dump and I will update the original post when done.

    Re-did memtest with DISABLE switch:
    Write 708, verify 395MB

    lame aksack.wav:
    18s

    Mplayer - Prometheus trailer decode
    88s

God willing I will finish up tomorrow with Amigamark and update the original post with side by side tests.
