Off topic, but AmigaDave and I have both purchased single 1.25 GHz processor cards for our FW800s.

If we can find the correct information we are going to try to change the multiplier and voltage settings to get them to run at 1.5 GHz (different then the dual processor cards) With the copper coolers from the dual 1.42 processor cards, these should be fairly reliable (and who needs two processors for MorphOS).

Oh, and on using the Silcon Image controller, I've got my eye on two 10,000 rpm 150GB WD Raptors with 16MB caches to go with it.

The only thing that worries me is that the max bandwidth of a PCI connection may bottleneck such a set up.
Even if it does slightly, it should still prove to be a big improvement over the Quicksilver's ATA66 controller,
