    I recently switched from a CRT monitor to a 22" Apple Cinema Display. After a couple small quirks, Ambient Desktop looks great. Any documentation or links on how to create screenmodes to get everything else working and in proper aspect ratio?

    TIA

    Thanks, but I know about that doc. It really doesn't help with my problem. Actually, suddenly I am finding myself too distracted to tinker much, so I will go back to the CRT for a while and revisit my problem in the future.

    Exactly what problem are you having on your Apple Cinema Display? I use a smaller version of that monitor, the 20-inch Cinema Display and it works flawlessly at a resolution of 1680x1050 and looks great.

    @Dave
    Ambient desktop is fine. Trying to use any other screenmode is no go with programs like Payback not showing any available screenmodes, to others like Quake 3 having video show up in a corner box of the monitor regardless of resolution.

    ModeEdit (Monitors) only shows three options, 1600x1024 (8bit, 16bit, 24bit). Creating new or clone and trying to modify, there are no resolution options in the list.

    Screen mode on legacy utilities ie "Batch Factory" is locked to a corner of the Apple Cinema Display. There may be other legacy apps affected as well. Will read the Pdf on screenmode ty
