    Is somebody using a Voodoo4?
And what about the 3D support since MOS 1.4 there is a Warp3D wrapper for Voodoo3 and 4, i've got a Voodoo3 but would like to upgrade to Voodoo4, and now i want to know, if there are any problems with the Warp3D wrapper and the Voodoo4 and if somebody is using a TV-Card with his Voodoo4?

    Hi,

    I got a Voodoo4AGP, and the warp3d games
    work good here :)

I even can change my brightness settings
and stuff in the monitor prefs, while a
friend of me with a voodoo3 says it crashes
    his system.

    Bye,
    Felix.

No, there is no 3D support yet and overlay is
currently disabled for radeon 8500/9100. DVI
    output works.

Hi Felix did you have any TV-Card running on your system, with the AGP Card? I heard that there are problems with TV-Cards when your are using an AGP GFX Card!

No, i had a TV Card on my old Mediator setup,
worked good, i have given it to my buddy, who
has a pegasos + voodoo3, and we still have to
test it out, we are playing quake2 to much
online, instead of doing this kind of stuff :)

    Bye,
    Felix.

    I use a Voodoo4 4500 AGP and all my
    3D-Games runs perfectly.
But, a small problem is, the scaler-function
(overlay) crashes the system when you play
a video with mplayer after a 3d-game has run.
A voodoo3 has not this problem!

But, and this is the best:
    A Voodoo3 has 25percent more 3d-power.
Heretic2 and Quake2 runs smoother and
    WipeOut is nearly unplayable :-)

    TV-card with AGP-boards?
Simply: NO! The Articia-S does not allow
    a busmaster-transfer over the "slave"-AGP-bus!
    TV-card with a PCI-graphic-card runs,
    when you use the Visionary-soft!

    Bye

I had Voodoo 4 4500 connected to my Pegasos, it didn't work...

Fan on it started on power up, but there was no image coming through... Still, I could hear my Pegasos boot to MorphOS - Even if I tried to abort with ESC...

I guess that was a broken card, returned it and got refund...

But tell, if you have similar problems, and when buying, keep proof-of-purchase, so you can return it, if it doesn't work

    @ThePlayer:

Sorry, i meant the Vooodoo4 with the better
performance. :-) It was an typing error...

But, my new problem is the fan on the Voodoo4.
It was an used card (ebay) over a long time.
Now the fan makes many noises!
Ich hope, i can find a new one for replacing!

    Bye
