also i was wondering. i have a gigabit hub when i boot into osx the hub shows giga-lan but when i use morphos the hub lights up as 10/100 why is this?...

I'd guess auto negotiation fails on your setup. Some details about the hub / network setup could help.

that links to a tp-link switch(sorry not hub) tl-sg1008d all other machine connect to the switch..
