After I got my G4 Quicksilver 2002 (1ghz dual) running, i figured id give a stab at installing wookiechat. To my surprised, it connected and everything worked... Strange...

On my Mac Mini 1.25ghz, for some reason it wont even get passed the "Got Ident Reponse" and it hangs forever, and I noticed connectivity issues with AmiGift....

Is there something wrong or is there a bug which refuses for certain software to just not work or connect properly? I suppose I could just reinstall everything on my mac mini just incase something bad installed, but I installed Wookiechat on my Mac Mini before anything else really got installed.

Either way, I am impressed with MorphOS. I am gonna load up the G4 PowerMac with a soundblaster live, a USB 2.0 card, and probably put a 250GB hard drive to have both OS X and MorphOS.

I had same problems with wookiechat ... solved using Amirc

I did try AmIRC and it did work, but strange that having different hardware it manages to connect just fine, whereas my Mac Mini it refuses to work with both Wookiechat and Amigift.

... Nobody knows as to why it works on one machine, but not on the other? :)
