    Do you really think Intel is going to vend PPC processors? They have a vested interest in that ISA failing.
    After all, the last generation of video game consoles all used PPC cpus, and now only one does (with two of the major players switching from IBM PPC cpus to X86 based systems).
    Soon now, that last holdout will shift away from PPCs (once the WiiU is replaced).

    So Axxia PPC cpus from Intel?
    Maybe the ARM variants, and for existing customers? Who knows?
    What will they promote and continue to develop?
    Bet it isn't PPC based.


    I don't expect Intel to develop PPC any further but I don't think consoles would have any thing to do with it. The shift in architecture hasn't changed anything for Intel and unless they seriously up their GPU game AMD will have the console vendor market sewn up for the foreseeable future.
