    Hello hardware guru's :-)

I've fallen from my believes! -> I've got a pc at home with my A1200 and Peggy!!

To immediately straighten this out: the pc will hit the road when secure lines and Java, etc., will work. Because at this moment I can't manage my internet bank-accounts with the Amiga browsers:-(

Ok, I've got an ethernet-connection to a DHCP-server of 10 mbit full duplex.

I want to connect the pc, the Peg and my A1200 to the internet with this ethernet connection.

What do I need and how must I do it to set this up?

At this moment I'm switching connectors the whole time, gets tiring :-)

Oh, with the Peg I use Genesis V1.06.
    With the A1200 Genesis (OS3.9)
The pc has Win98SE with IE5 on it.

Pick up a router. The first connector on the router is for internet. (Sometimes numbered, sometimes marked with an outline box) Your DSL modem, or whatever is serving up the internet.

Connect the PC to the connector next to it. You should have a manual with said router, which will tell you the ip address to enter into IE (basically, most modern routers have a configuration webpage directly in the router). Follow the manual's instructions.

Once you have the router set up, you can begin messing with Genesis's settings (although, I've heard people have had better luck with MiamiDX).

    Guys,

    Thank you very much.

I saw at an exchange broadband routers and LAN routers or so. Can you tell me what the difference is between these two?

But if I buy such a router I can probably easily connect all computers to the internet?

I have my 4000T PPC, Pegasos, and IBook on a LAN with an ADSL modem and a LINKSYS BSFR41 Router/Switcher. All machines can FTP eachother and share the DSL line! Its the best! Notice not Winblowze!
