    Hello there

Alongside with my Mac Mini G4, I've been using those past years a nive DVI to TV adapter made by Apple.

This adapter has no big mistery (what a strange spanish direct translation, I know): It sents a DVI signal to OSX and then OSX sets a interlaced 50HZ video mode over the DVI port. It's possible to do do, as many VGA-to-TV adaptors have proven: you just need to set a proper video mode and have a proper cable, and voila, you get TV modes over teg VGA port to connect any PC with a SCART cable to the TV.

I would like to use this great adaptor in MOS, but of course the system won'r detect & use it atomagically since it's specific Apple hardware. Instead, all I need is the proper video mode:
Has someone connected a MOS machine to a TV over the VGA port by definig the right PAL video mode?
Has anybody made the Apple DVI-to-TV adapter work on MOS?

    Thanks!

Yes. IIRC it was already working using CyberGraphX 3 on my BVision.

    From: Rzeszow, place...
So you both say it doesn't work per se, requires some extra effort etc?

I got one but haven't checked yet myself.
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
    Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

No, I say it can work with no effort. Setup your 15kHz mode, plug your cable and enjoy.
At least it used to work and I see no reason why it shouldn't work anymore.
