I know everyones looking forward to the mac mini port, as am I, but looking over the internet I came across this beast of a computer for only $1250.

I agree. This would be a great machine to have MorphOs or AmigaOS running on. I contacted them about it. They said they have been in contact with Hyperion but they chose not to procede.

Well if it was anything like I tried to do with Amiga OS 4 back in the day it doesnt surprise me. I offered at one time to pay them for the porting work to the Pegasos, and they refused. Now its out and they did it on there own. they seem to be very close minded in things like this.

I think it's a lot of money (and the HW is hot and it's noisy), especially since MorphOS/OS4 can only use one single core in a meaningful way. Maybe that single core performs faster than a 1.58GHz Mac Mini, but I actually kind of doubt it. All in all, I seriously doubt it would be worth the effort.

btw i'm curious, does anyone see hyperion winning that lawsuit? from the details ive seen, they dont have much of a case.
