The system is a Pegasos2 version 1.1 (20040405172512).
I normally use a Radeon 9200SE (128MB) in the system. But obtained a Volari V3XT card which I will install in an EFIKA which I have ordered. However, I unsuccessfully attempted to test the card in my Peg 2 - hence the posting.

Is my system in need of a more recent firmware?

There should be a newer firmware, you will have to mail bplan with your serial number or board MAC address so they can give you the right one.

This may fix it, or it may not, but it would be best if you were running 1.2.

Guys, I am the one who originally logged what I though was an innocent query (about an admittedly low-end graphics card).

For now I will wait to test the board in an Efika system I have ordered (and hope to receive in the next few days).

Let's consider this closed as I don't want this to deteriorate any further.
