    Hi,

I've read lots of articles showing how to load MorphOS on a G4 Mac Mini, but I've always read the G4 Mac Mini and G4 iBook are pretty much the same hardware. Is it possible to install MorphOS on a G4 iBook if so?

Just curious--- I'm hoping to get a new laptop soon to replace my aging iBook, and if so then this might be a fun project for this little system.

    Thanks --

According to pictures (but no promises) it could perhaps happen on a Powerbook at least...?

BTW maybe Bigfoot could do a little spoiler by showing us some new pictures and some words how the Mini and PB port is progressing.

I think the answer to the question in the title of this thread is NO. And so far the answers from members of the MorphOS team that I have seen have always said that they are working on the MacMini model ONLY, and any other models will not be decided upon until later, so don't hold your breath for any other Mac models until the team actually states that they have agreed to work on that particular model. I hope they do work on many other Mac PPC models, but they might never do that if they find a better alternative, that is new equipment instead of used Macs.

Myself, I would hold on to that iBook just in case as you can't get too much of your money back by selling it anyway.
