New Power Architecture roadmap revision:

http://www.rtcmagazine.com/files/images/3406/RTC05_TC_Power_Fig01_large.jpg (with "c500mc" instead of "e500mc", "480" instead of "460", "40582" instead of "405S2", "c200" instead of "e200", "450" instead of "460")
QorIQ P50xx was removed from 32-bit processors, but there's still this unknown to me "QorIQ P55xx" listed under 64-bit processors.
Further changes:
- addition of
C*Core, Chinachip and VeriSilicon companies with IBM PPC460 core
- addition of Freescale QorIQ T4xxx processor and e65xx core
- addition of IBM POWER8 processor
- removal of IBM PowerEN processor (Anybody know why?)
New Power Architecture roadmap revision (2012):
http://www.power.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/6.-Power.org-Fawzi-Behmann-Presentation.pdf (page 6)
64-bit chip QorIQ P50xx was re-added to 32-bit processors (why?), and also 64-bit chip T4240 was added to this category (why?). "QorIQ P55xx" is still listed (why?).
Further changes:
- addition of IBM POWER7+ processor
- removal of IBM POWER8 processor (why?)
- removal of
IBM BlueWaters (justified because was changed from Power Architecture to another ISA during planning phase)
New Power Architecture roadmap revision (2013):
http://www.power.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Power.org_Power_Architecture_Roadmap_2013.pdf (page 5)
QorIQ P50xx and T4240 were finally removed from 32-bit processors. "QorIQ P55xx" is still listed (why?).
Further changes:
- removal of Chinachip company
- removal of IBM POWER7+ processor
- re-addition of IBM POWER8 processor
- re-addition of
IBM BlueWaters (why?)
- addition of IBM PowerServer
Edit: Added 2012 roadmap.
Edit 2: Added 2013 roadmap.
