Efika sound quality

Now that we have sound on the Efika (2.1 roxx), I'd like to ask the other Efika owners how their efika's sound quality is.
On my device all gfx operations distrurb the sound (even when no sound is replayed). Anyone else observed something like this?
It's not like the stuttering observed on the Pegasos 1 caused by the Articia's bad performance, but I rather think it comes from some electric field radiation. Does anyone else hear gfx related noise or this a problem of my particular setup (the picture frame i.e. with integrated TFT) and the source is most likely my poorly shielded display (the poor shilding is the price of getting the device as thin as possible).

    Hi,

I don't have any trouble with sound. I didn't plugged my efika yet to my home made gaincube power amplifier (gainclone design) & cabasse drivers to check the clearness and quality of the output.

For now, playing the sound with the integrated lcd speaker, I don't get any problem while gfx operations.

You should try ear speaker to check the origin (lcd poor shielding or?)

    Czk.

Having just installed 2.1 I'm not exactly blown away by the sound quality. Very quiet, with lots of low level interference.

Think it might just be the sound output on the Efika??

I guess there's something really wrong with my Efika.
The noise is on every gfx movement and I suspect also while hdd access.
It is not a little rumble, but really strong noise artefacts (no comparision with my Pegasos or PC).
When I switch of the display it does not seem to be much better.
Also I have this strange behaviour wth my Efika, that after pwr down, the board needs about 15-20 minutes to be able to start again.
Wen powered on earlier, the init doesn't pass and the hdd does not spin up. Has anyone else observed this oddity?
I wonder if this is somehow related to the *massive* audio noise. Except from that the board runs fine and stable and MorphOS 2.1 is really cool on the board.
