    Hi

Been meaning to post about this for a while. When I boot up (or reset) my Efika it will always boot up to the Firmware, but doesn't always boot into Morphos.

Sometimes it will not even get as far as the loading screen, other times it seems to hang on the loading screen. At first I thought this was a Morphos problem, but I'm starting to thing it's hardware related.

Is it possible the the harddrive doesn't spin up fast enough? When it does boot up all the way, the system is relatively (for Morphos 2.0 on Efika!!) relatively stable.

    Thanks in advance

if usb devices are attached especially on port 2 (the top one), then it usually does that at least on mine. this includes any hub if it draws power from efika, (though i tried a self powered and it did it too) and any joypads, jump, thump, flash drives inserted. try booting with just keyboard/mouse attached.

Not sure if this is your problem, but i usually reset a couple of times to then get it booted right. kind of reminds me of my old tempermental 500 i use to have ;-)

Sounds like yours is just the same as mine then. I'll try that and see what happens.

Just glad it isn't just me that has this problem. I probably have to reset about 2 or 3 times to get it to boot in the end.
