I've bought a second hand Pegasos II G3 600. I've connected it up with the ram and cpu card card supplied and added a radeon 9250 agp card. When i connect the Atx 500w psu and turn on, the keyboard lights up for a second and psu seems to do nothing. I've tested the psu on my efika and it lights up and the efika works from the psu. Do i need a power swicth to start the pegasos or is there some thing wrong with the board?

I've tried to start the pegasos with just the cpu card fitted and still nothing. it's not yet fitted to a case.
Any idea and help will be appreciated

    You do need a switch.

Efika has a special little power management controller which allows it to restore it's state on power loss; it may be set to "turn on" when it gets power.

Actually this is kind of a dangerous option to have where you're plugging ATX connectors in, you might fry your board. Please don't do that, it's only meant to detect a power glitch and bring the system back up (like a server or inacessible thin client solution :) and not to replace the front panel switch :D
