Not entirely MorphOS related but maybe someone have had the same problem. Im experiencing rather odd behaviour from my Peg2. When ever I insert a cd and it starts spinning, the Pegasos restarts. It does not matter if I have booted to MOS or if I insert the cd at the BIOS prompt.

Have seen some wierd sh1t in my life when it comes to hardware, but this one is new to me. Anyone else ever had similar problem? Later today I will try with another ide-cable and another drive to see if it cures the problem.

there could be also problem with powering, when cd is inserted, some extra power is needed to spin up. and if the board isn't feeded enough, it reboots with power failure...

    bye, MarK.

You were correct. Gave power to the cd-rom drive from my other computer and it works (after of course trying another drive and using the old+new drive on the first ide-cable, stubborn sob that I am ;-)) . Kind of a relief actually.. I was afraid the second ide-bus was broken.

    Thanks
