Sold my Peg1 and got a Peg2

    Sold my Peg1 (Pegasos1 PPC G3@600MHz, Radeon 7500 128MB, 256MB RAM,
    80GB Hard Drive, 52x CD-ROM) and got a Peg2. I am so happy for this
    upgrade!

    Peg2 Specs:

    CPU: PegasosII PPC G4 / 1.0GHz
    RAM: Kingston 512MB RAM
    Gfx Card: ATI Radeon 9250, 128MB
    Tower: Thermaltake (Black) + PSU 350Watt
    Hard Disk: Western Digital 80GB IDE
    Digital Storage Devices: : LG DVD-ROM, NEC DVD-RW

    Congrats to your update...

    but... do you know what would have been even better? Getting that Pegasos2 and also keeping the Pegasos1. Two Pegasos are better than a single one. ;)

    Good pont but I need the cash from the sold Peg1 to pay a part of Peg2
    price in advance. Been sad to miss my little Peg1 which was my first
    Peg system but I know it is now safe and well in hands of a very good
    friends of mine, so we are two happy Peg maniacs now
    :)

    Make sure to replace the fan/heatsink with a high quality one. The one that came standard with the g4 will fail and toast the cpu. I went through 2 g4's in the last few years, even though I clean the fan/heatsink they still failed.

    I now have a great fan/heatsink and no problems.

    Enjoy the speed of the Peg II, I love mine...
