DAVID Laser Scanner 3D (Deutsch page)

    http://www.rob.cs.tu-bs.de/news/david

    And here in English:

    http://www.rob.cs.tu-bs.de/en/news/david

    Homepage:

    http://www.david-laserscanner.com/

It needs an USB camera and a low cost laser (those included in laser pointers or "levels")...

None here on MorphZone who is capable to realize a MorphOS driver for this little interesting open Source 3D project?

    [EDIT]
I edited the title according to the other reader who read better than me in the site of DAVID 3D Scanner, discovering that only the driver was of free release, while sources were not open.
    [/EDIT]

Aw... Shucks... I read it was free...

But it is free only the 3D laserscanner driver...

Entire project included David Shapefusion program, which creates all-around 3D models, by connecting various scans, then this is under license...

there was no need for 3D glasses since the beginning if you created just an OBJ model for 3D rendering software...

I was so ashamed I missed the correct sense of the site that as a sort of amend for the false alarm I launched that I searched for any Open Source 3D scanner and I think I found one...

But this project uses old technologies... No laser at all...
