    Hi guys,

I bought a PCI radeon 9200 which doesn't work under MOS but works in my XP box.
    .properties says:

    vendor-id 0x1002
    device-id 0x5C63
    revision-id 0x1

    Any idea?
    TIA

My pci.ids file says this is a Mobility Radeon 9200, M9+. Wikipedia informs me that this is a rv280 chipset, but it IDs differently to the other rv280 cards (9200, 9250).

What a totally random AGP card! Is it low profile or something? This is the same chip as in the iBook G4 series. I'd be interested in finding out where you got a laptop specification GPU on an AGP card.

I'd say the chances are that the Radeon monitor file doesn't have this PCI ID in. You could always hex edit it... or ask nicely if MorphOS 2 could list the PCI ID in the supported card list.

btw, the wikipedia pages on the ATI and nVidia GPUs is an invaluable resource as to card features. The ATI page is here should you need to refer to it.
