When I read about Efika, and the new great MorphOS 2.0 + sputnik I remembered the good old days of a great operationg system, and blew the dust of my old AmigaPPC hoping to get the current MorphOS up and running.

I've tried for some days now, with only a black screen after the first reboot. I have read that alot of people have the same problem, but for them "nokickstart" and using the idehack module did the trick, except for other errors in the s-s file.

I've tried all of the above, and can't get it to boot. I've also tried to copy the "Boot" directory from an older release, without any success.

I have an Amiga1200T with BlizzardPPC+ with 603p/240MHz and MC68060RC60. BlizzardVision GFX card and 2 x 64MB of EDO ram. When testing I had only one drive connected to the blizzard scsi chain, and none on the stock scsi.device

If anyone have any suggestions to try out I would appreciate it :-)

Thanks Skolman for your reply. I have the same file sizes as you have.

However, I'm typing directly from Sputnik now :-)
I managed to get it working. I reformated the partition, and selected
"international" which was not chosen. Then recopied the CD. It
    worked. GREAT ;-)

Anyway, I downloaded MorphOS 1.4.5 with Ambient 1.41SE as far as I
have read. When I select "about" in the menu I get MorphOS 1.4 and
Ambient 1.41. Is this correct, or does it excist another newer version??
