Here it is, my first post ever from the brand new Pegasos II!

Ijust got it Tuesday, and got it put together today in a new black
half height case. It's working great so far, and it's FAST!!!

I'm stoked!!

Now I just need to find some half height backplates for the graphics
card (Genesi included the card, but it didn't come with the backplate,
only the ATX backplane for the case) and a few blank ones to fill in
the extra holes.

That, and the new Sputnik browser, and it's all good!

Is there a new firmware version?

Sadly, no. Mine's got the 1.2 version. IIRC the ODWs shipped with
1.3, is this correct? Should I try to upgrade?

I guess it's still 1.2(.99) for ODW while EFIKA is already at 1.3.

I was asking since you mentioned "it's FAST" and there were rumours the memspeed is not so fast with recent machines' OF setup.
Running MorphOS' "memtest disable" from shell I get "Write 486 MB/sec. Verify 232 MB/sec."

I almost forgot to mention, that I ordered this on Sunday night and got it Tuesday. Talk about customer service! I think I got the actual last one that it was possible to buy from Genesi! They should get kudos here, but I think the fast delivery time speaks for itself. BTW, I actually paid a little extra, like as if I'd bought the MOS specific version of the ODW, so someone MOS land could get some support too. It's not much, but every little bit helps. I'm no Amigaharry but I have donated a couple hundred dollars to Morphzone and and the Sputnik bounty.
