    Hi all

I've got a AOpen G325 case on its way for my new PegII to live in. I love the case, but I'm not mad about the idea of the PSU sticking out the back of the case. I'm thinking of getting one of these tiny inverter boards and a small 12v transformer which could both fit inside the case. The questions is, will 200W be enough? I'm running a PegII, 512MB DDR266, 20GB HDD, CD-ROM and Radeon 8500 AIW. Can anyone give me any idea whether 200W would be enough for this setup?

    Yes
200watt should be more than sufficient. I have run my config below with a 145watt in a lo pro case..

    Hi,
Normaly ATX PSU adapt their output to the required Wattage. So a nice 420W PSU would use only 200W if it's needed.

    You'll be very close to the 200W with your config : 8500 =50/85W, Hdd = 5/40W, Burner = 5/80W, Peg2 =something like 15/40 W (with usb peripherals )....
    Keep the Faith !

Maybe one day a G4 AmigaONE when they will be debugged and without April...

I have an Aopen H420Awith 200W and no problem with Peg2, G4, 512, Radeon9250, DVD writer and hard drives.

I have measured my system with a Watt-meter and it does take about 45 Watts.

The PSU shouldn't be too big, because the effectivity is very bad if you use a 400Watt supply at only 50Watt.
If you use 50Watt, it will use up to 100Watt, because it is optimized for 400Watt.

200W is plenty, a complete Pegasos system takes about 50 W.
I once put a Radeon 9800SE AIW inside and it powered up with my 150 W PSU - no problem.

i have peg2/g4 with usb2 pci, radeon 9000 pro, sb l!ve, tv card, hdd, dvd-rom, dvd-rw, and my normal power consumption is about 70 watts... where do you take all those big numbers??? with 19" flat crt monitor, and 110 w amplifier (used at about 20% loudness) it takes together about 200 watts...
