    Hi to all.

I'm looking around for any1 have tested Scanquix 5 usb version under MOS with success.
I try to configure the program (afther a manual installation), but Scanquix say:Cannot Open "AGLibs/AGgui.library", Version 0.
    Any suggestion?

    Thanks, Flip.

PS. the scanner it's an Epson Perfection 1260.

I don't know about USB, because I'm using only a SCSI scanner successfully with MorphOS (Umax Astra 1200).

but my scanquix dir looks like this:

    work:scan> dir all

    • Libs (dir)

      • AGlibs (dir)

        • AGfile.library
        • AGgfx.library
        • AGgui.library
        • AGio.library
        • AGsys.library

    • Calibratix Calibratix.info
    • Eject Eject.info
    • PhotoCopyPro PhotoCopyPro.info
    • PhotoScope PhotoScope.info
    • ScannerPrefs ScannerPrefs.info
    • ScanQuix4 ScanQuix4.info
    • ScanToDisk ScanToDisk.info

PhotoScope is the software i got with the scanner, but It uses same API (Libs, scanner.device, etc.) as ScanQuix. So I put it all in one dir ;)

    morphos:devs> dir all

    • Scanners (dir)

      • UMAX_Astra_1200S_PS
      • UMAX_Astra_1220S_PS
      • UMAX_Astra_610S_PS

    • scanner.device

works all like a charm. Hope it helps:) Alternatively u can copy the libs to SYS:Libs/, but why waste space there if only one program needs it? ;)

    regards,
    tokai

    @Tokai

I try to copy the damn libs in Sys:Libs and in the same dir where I install scanquix... Not work!
The problem is simple, the program didn't find the libs...

    Any clue?

    Thanks Flip.

@flip: are u sure u put it in the AGLibs/ subdir inside libs?

anyway.. i recommend to download snoopium or snoopdos from aminet and check whats exactly is going on and what fails. Maybe one of the libs wants to load anything else which fails. And error messages by programs are sometimes misleading.

    Where You get FxScan?
    Found :-)

    @tokai
    I use scout.
The resoult is: aglib it's loaded (v4.0) but, the program didn't find it...

    Thanks, Flip.

NEWS: Finally I fix it but, a new problem came up!
In the ScannerPrefs I can select the Epson 1250 scanner but, not the usb interface...
