    Hello,

I just received my Peg II G3 (supper excited!)

Although, I would like to find a way to use dual monitors on MorphOS similar to how I have my PC currently setup. My PC has one Radeon card with two outputs and makes a shared desktop on each monitor.

As far as I understand MorphOS will not allow the use of the second output (DVI) on the radeon cards as a second monitor...Is this correct?

Also, if I have to use two video cards what is the best combination of cards to use (best features, highest qaulity, similar specs etc.) and to avoid conflicts etc. For those of you that currently do this how well does it work?

Any help would be great, THANKS!

The key for multi video card is not using radeon AGP cards.
I have a setup here with 3 video cards: Radeon 9000 PCI, Voodoo 3000 PCI, Voodoo 5500 AGP.
I do not recommend the V5500 (bad gfx quality and SLI unsupported). I recommend a V3 3500TV.
For the radeon card get one with 128 bit bus if possible. You can either go for the higher clock rate ones (but using fans) of for the lower clock rate ones.

    Thanks...

Should I use both PCI or PCI/AGP, or does it really matter?

Why can't I use a dual output card (DVI&VGA), or is this just not possible?

...Dual 21" monitors on my Morphos/Pegasos machine will be another nail-in-the-coffin for my windows machine :-D...Awww can't wait.

If you use a Radeon PCI and a Voodoo AGP it gives you the advantage of having one more PCI slot free.

I don't think dual output card are supported in MorphOS 1.4.5.
3D is not supported on Radeon cards in MorphOS 1.4.5 so it is worth having a Voodoo.

Is it possible to have radeon output for ambient and a voodoo for 3D games at same time?
Does the conbination radeon PCI Voodoo PCI wors?

This is exactly what I have. Ambient and some apps on the Radeon, 3D games / Dopus on the Voodoo and AmIRC / other apps on the other voodoo.

I use several monitors / info apps on Ambient so I like to open apps on the other cards. I also like to dedicate one screen to IRC. On my 4000 I had up to 5 gfx cards + aga output + vlabmotion output.
