    Hello!

It seems my Pegasos motherboards tends to kill PS/2 keyboards. When the power is down, there is still power coming from the PS/2 port, so I think this somehow has killed two brand new keyboards so far... They either stop working, or they type things by themselves.....

    Any help on this?

I have tried several different PS/2 keyboards so far, three of them in Pegasos1, and all four in Pegasos2. So far they are all working just fine. Sounds strange.. this is the first time I'm hearing about such a problem. Can you see any leds burning while the Pegasos is turned off?

I had the same problem with a wireless ps2 keyboard, it started to write by itself. I plugged this kboard to my PC and worked fine, it wasn't damaged but not supported by the peg2. I have no problems with my current keyboard, as long as i don't consider having a wired kboard as a problem.

    now even more strange :

the upmentioned wireless keyboard works perfectly with my Peg1 but the other one (wired) doesn't.

now try to get done with it.

My wireless ps/2-keyboard has some problems when batteries are low. Sometimes it doesn't recognize me typing, sometimes it starts writing by itself.

This problem is MOS only, under linux the keyboard works nice for some time (hours?) until the batteries are really empty.

I had a keyboard with some backlight

    http://www.img.cs.titech.ac.jp/~david/hhhalbum/pegasos/p1010208.jpg

it was USB, but I plugged to the PS/2 with those USB-PS/2 converters that came with the mouse. When plugged to the PS/2 port, the light was on even when the computer was off.... This keyboard died.

Then, I got a normal PS/2 keyboard. It doesn't light up, but it died too.

Of course I tried the keyboards in several computers, and the keyboards just went nuts.
