    Is there any way to disable DMA anyway?

    I think it might be possible (and perhaps economical) to set something
    up so that you keep your data on a device mounted over a network. Of
    course, network traffic also corrupts, but I'm not sure if it will
    send corrupted data unnoticed, and if it receives it and crashes
    that's nothing that won't go away with a reboot anyway.
