Hm, a 7447A would be nice but is a G3 fast enough for testing?

DJ Base, I believe the G3 is enough, the application doesn't use a lot of CPU ressources and it is interesting for the benchmark to have Betatester running g3 as well ;)

Yes, you can use a USB or Firewire camera. The result with the FW is much better. You also need speakers and microphone. The best is to have a head set or you will have an annoying echo ;)

Will a cam with built-in micro work?

sounds great! I have a Firewire digital video camera here I can use. How do I set it up with Gnome meeting though? I couldt get it recognized..

However, It does work with Kino though - an Open Source Imovie type video editing/capture program.(runs on peg )

    :-P

Before anyone get disappointed you should probably ask specifically
what the discount is going to be.
I mean.. a 5 Euro discount may probably not be what you expect, do
    you? :)

Things should be clear before you go into wild dreams and enormous
    expectations (i.e. 7447A for 0,-)

Don't get me wrong. I wish we'd all get them for free (hehe) but some
users might really expect too much and then end up angry just because
    they didn't knew the odds.

    Regards Ingo
