With things looking bleak for MorphOS I have decided the Pegasos isnt for me any longer. I have been an owner since the start and it sadens me to see things end the way they did. As a result of not being interested in Linux and having Macs as well at home I would like to offer my system for sale. Its not an ODW per say, but has the same specs.

    Pegasos II G4
512 MB PC2700 Corsair Dual Chan DDR.
    Soundblaster Live PCI
Radeon 9200 AGP 128MB (Not the SE, the full 9200)
Custom Mid Tower, Blue and Silver with clear side and a 350W PSU.
    60GB Maxtor IDE Hard Drive
    CD-RW drive
    DVD-ROM drive
    All software and manuals included.

The system is like new still. I take very good care of my computers. Its been in a non smoking home and is loaded with the latest release of MorphOS with every patch and update available to end users.

Not so much attempting to sell it for a MorphOS system, but more of a linux system. So i wasnt attempting to be a "salesman"

I can completely understand Acill's position. He has a hectic job with lots of travel and a young family to support so has very little time to spend messing around with us waiting for morphos to happen.

Did you sell your Amiga when Commodore went bankrupt? You stuck by that platform did you not?

Why abandon ship so soon? What is happening is the users are starting to bailout but lots of devs never stopped and still are working. This is making things seem worse than they are as well.

Ahhh..man...please reconsider at least for a while longer. I don't think that it is the end of the road yet. There were some updated programs even today. I keep repeating to myself, 'self: don't do anything rash!'. Hang in there, please!!!!????

You make a good point, but with users bailing out what good is it to have? I will hang in as long as its not sold. I didng keep my Amiga only to sell it for a Pegasos and now all this leaves a real bad tast in my mouth if you get what I mean.

    Hi magnetic,

    I won't dispute that.

So, when will the MorphOS team say publically what their new intentions are? BBRV has made his near future plans known.

I know KMOS et. al. have been mia for months now, but MOS users are dangling by a thread. Does anyone know anything at all?

Mac minis are probably your best bet.

    Good luck guys.

How long is long enough to wait? These problems existed for many months even before morphos.net went online.

Unless the remaining core developers state a plan of continuance then expect to see many more Peg2's pop up for sale over the coming weeks...mine included.

That does seem a little low for how it is spec'd.
