    A microcluster??? well one PEG mobo could run as thin clien served by
    the other mobo, internally coupled by the GEthernet would make a nice
    microcluster.
    conclusion: That's going to be hot Sh¡t!

    Making coffee is pretty mission critical! We sure that dual peggy's are up to it? They sure would not get warm enough to make coffee. :-o

    very interesting :-)

    I did the same idea with a PEG and an A1200 for AGA games ;-)

    2 machines; 1 monitor, 1 mouse and 1 keyborad and an auto switch that's all. :-P

    That would be cool! :) Maybe a peg/mac or peg/pc box with a built in kvm switch. But the projects in the pics need lots of work to get the slots cut out, etc. :) Or maybe it's an AmigaOne/1200.
    :-x

    Gunne, that is really cool stuff! :-D I think that can become a kind of topseller!
    I guess the client mobo can be powered off and on by the master board? That would make some good sense. You only add the power of the client(s) when you need it.
    We know Linux is clusterable but the question that arises immediately: Will be MOS 1.5 ready for clustering? I remember the bplan dnet cruncher was rumoured to be some cluster...

    Hi

    Ok, and Thank You. It is an experiment so far. And yes, one powersupply, one board boots, the other having delay and boots later. Only one board can turn of the system, the other cant run halt, shutdown etc. But the aim is to not turn of the system of course. Its easely moveable.

    We haven't run openmosix or anything similar yet, but distcc works I know.

    Edit;

    About MorphOS, not for this experiment now.

    I do really like MorphOS, its the quickest and most responsive os I ever used, and probably also ever will come to use. And also looking forward to use it forward of course. It really does put the fingertip onto how something is that happens directly.

    Gunne
