I'll admit the price is a bit high, but you can buy just the board and add your own stuff like I did. My total system was $950 to build after spending $618 (I think) from the pegasosppc.com online store. I got all the other parts at newegg.com after that.
Pricing stuff today I looked for you.
$775 for the G4 Pegasos II from Ultraspec
$35 for SEVERAL awsome 300W PSU towers at newegg.com
$27 for a radeon 7000, or $65 for a 9200
$65 for 512MB PC2700 RAM $30-55 for 256MB
$10 for a CD ROM drive, $25 for DVD or CD-R, $80 for DVD-/+RW
$12 for keyboard, $5 for mouse
If you get the system with a Radeon 7000, 256MB RAM, CD-R/RW, and the cheap keyboard and mouse it will be a total of $909, not bad at all now is it?
