I guess it would be the first time a microATX board won't fit into a microATX case. ;)

I hope it fits this one:

    http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=312200&pfp=cat3

THis is a nice, heavy duty case (I checked it in person today) and its
real quiet, looks and feels very well made. I think it'd be a good
home for the Peg II I will someday be able to afford :-0

That case is great but I can tell you now its going to be a very difficult fit. This is due to the power supply hanging so low. Look at some pics of one... the problem is the CPu card..

It looks cool and not so small as to cause you problems with a Pegasos...
The problem is that I was going to buy an Antec ARIA like Tronman! :-( Are you sure that it's not going to fit? How tall is the G4 card?
Here's a link to a picture of the inside of the case...
    Antec ARIA inside

Stony, do you think that case is available for purchase in every country?

I have an Antec Aria and my Peg-1 G3 600 fits into it...the CPU card is very close, but it fits :) And works well!

Not sure about Peg-2's cpu card though. But otherwise the motherboard should fit.Quote:

The Pegasos is a Micro ATX board. You can mount it in any cases except ITX. The only probleme can be the GFX card, sometimes it is higher than the box :)

Cool! Now, I'll just have to discover if the positioning of the processor is the same on Pegasos II and if the G4 card is taller etc...
Seems the same in the images!
Are the front ports and the card reader functional? I bet the card reader can't be used on MorphOS, can it?
However, it's got to be a pretty case...

The card reader isn't functional, but I have one of the front USB working. There doesn't seem to be headers to hook up both on the peg-1, so I just have one connected. But everything else works, including the HDD led. The case is EXTREMELY quiet, you can barely hear it. And if you have a gfx card with no fan, it is almost totally silent. The 120mm fan at the back spins very very slow but still pushes alot of air...It is supposed to be temperature controlled but I haven't really heard it spin up faster...well maybe it did, but it is so quiet :)

I think that case is available for purchase in your country. Ask for ModeCom resellers.

I looking on Antec case, and it rocks! :-)

The card reader works just fine with MorphOS and Poseidon 2.2 + Fat95.

I bought the case today and it works perfectly.

Click here for my review of it.

    I hope you like it!

Thanks, thats another question answered then, Iron :-)

I really fancy something a bit different, but without having the CD drive in sideways! Aria always used to be a nice company to deal with when I lived in Manchester, too ...

    Ironfist:

    Nice review.. Thanks :-)

I wouldnt paint as rosy a picture of the install though. I got one in 2 weeks ago for evaluationj and can say it was the toughest install of any case I've tried to put a peg into (thats alot) I with the PSU was only 150 watts and small... very tough to configure the mb connectors installed. Also the agp gets blocked by the psu wires and such... but it looks really cool !

    Thanks for the compliments. :)

The PSU draw is not constant so It can draw as little as 50 Watt for our
beloved Peggy's but it has the power to provide 300. It's still overkill though. :)

    Magnetic:
Well, that is not the case's fault but bplan or whoever designed the Peggy.
Putting the ATX-connector where it is was not the brightest thing to do..
