    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any luck fitting their Peg2 into a Mini ITX tower? And if so, which one? I've seen some funky looking small cases but I'm unsure about whether they're too small, and if there's enough air circulation (for a G3).

    Cheers, smitho

Peg2 is microATX. It wouldnt fit in miniITX only cases.

Hi, actually the Pegasos2 is NOT Micro-ATX. Micro-ATX would be 244mm x 244mm. The Pegasos2 has the length of a normal Micro-ATX board but the width of the Mini-ITX form factor (170mm), so its smaller than Micro-ATX but bigger than Mini-ITX. Anyway it should not fit in most Mini-ITX cases.

I think you are talking about the maximum size of the micro ATX specification. But it is definetely a microATX because it follows the standards: does not exceed that size, the holes are on the right places for microATX towers, the orientation of the card slots, etc...

Anyway, I saw a lot of mini-ITX cases around here where it would fit, but the problem is not the size but the other things of the microATX standard. Basically, you wouldn't be able to fit any card because of the orientation of the slots.

I bought a microATX slim case, where you can use low profile cards (shorter than normal).

Anyway, I am very interested in fitting it in a mini ITX, so if anyone manages to do it, please post in this thread!

I have also seen people that fits pc boards in cartoon boxes or plastic tanks...

mmm I am not sure. I was looking in their home page, but it seems they ship only in Japan. You can try writing them an e-mail in english at info@lupo.co.jp If they do not reply and you are really interested, ask me again.

Anyway, I think those cases are too expensive. Better the do-it-yourself polytanks ;-)
