I just got my pegasos2 today.

I placed the peg2 card in my case and connected drives and cdrom as they where connected to my
peg1 board. First none of the harddisks start when
I powerup the board and after some moving around
harddisk and cdrom order they suddenly start. Fine :)

Then i come to the firmware boot, but the display is
somehow corrupted and theres dark grey and blue
chars around the screen in random places.
The screen is like devided into squares of the
usual firmware text (copyright, version and such)
but the text is not in order, its like you take the
screen of text, cut it in 16 squares and place them
around on the screen in random order like a
    puzzle.
Does anyone have any idea on whats wrong ?

    :-? :-? :-?

    Hi catohagen.

That doesn't sound too good. I have not heard of anyone with this problem before, it could perhaps be that your Pegasos II is defective (or any of your peripheral components)? Try removing and then re-inserting the graphics card and other things (like memory modules, CPU card, other PCI cards, etc). I don't know, but perhaps that might help? Try inserting another graphics card. Make sure everything is tightly connected into the slots and connectors.
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

Did all of this already. :)

I sold all my classic machinery to upgrade to peg2
so i have no other gfx cards i can use either.
I bought a Radeon 9000 with my peg1 and wanted
to continue to use this on peg2 also...

Considering it took a week to get the peg2 from Gunne, I don't look forward to waiting another
1 or 2 week to get the board replaced. :-?
