Using any PCIe card in the PMacG5 that is not graphics card , nor a rtl8168 network card has never been properly tested.

Do you have any suggestions? These cards usually have RAID enabled by default; perhaps it would be useful to disable it, but I imagine that would have to be done from a PC.
