For GFX anything that isn’t a 9000 will be slow for sure.

The new TinyGL does/should provide 3D support for all these cards, just no legacy W3D. Latest beta also omitted t3D for R600 but that should be fixed in 2 more weeks…..

I found RADEON HD7570 1 GB for sale
So can I use MorphOS with this card?
The problem with it is that it is a low profile card but I will solve that

Anyway, my Mac is a 1.75 GHZ G4
And yes, the video card is also a 7xxx series

So would I be better off with this HD 7570 card than with the Radeon X 1300Pro?
Maybe there's also a RADEON HD4350 512MB and it has an HDMI port too! And normal profile
Which of the 3 cards should I choose?

Yes. There was a TinyGL beta version with 3D support for TeraScale2 GPUs (R8xx/R9xx minus RV970), but an update removed this support. It's supposed to return, together with TeraScale1 (R6xx/R7xx) support, though.

    > Or is Wazp3D also possible with HD cards?

    In software rendering mode, yes.

    From 0.35 GHz even.

...except if it's an 8500 (LE).

...except Radeon HD cards with TeraScale3 (HD69xx) or GCN1/GCN2 (HD77xx-HD79xx, HD85xx-HD89xx) GPU, which are not even supported in 2D (at least officially (#32)).

Yes, but 2D-only and no overlay for now.

The X1300 is 3D-supported right now, the Radeon HD cards somewhen in the future. The HD4350 is 2D-supported with hardware overlay, the HD7570 without.

    Thanks!

Then I'll buy the radeon x1300pro for now and later if there is support I'll replace it with an HD card

But only under MorphOS, have this in X16 Slot and in the upper Slot Nvidia 6600 , Network works with TP-Link TG-3468 PCI-E Card

    Thanks for the advice!
I use the internet with the Power Mac's factory built-in adapter!
    works flawlessly.
I would rather have a Wifi/Bluetooth card that is compatible with the G5 P.M and is also supported by MorphOS

I only set up the G5 today and just quickly checked if the network and GPU were working. I've had it for a while, but I haven't had time to test anything because I was missing the GPU and network card until today :-)

Oh, and you also need the power adapter for the graphics card, which fits onto the logic board:

    Powerbook G4 A1138/39
    Powermac G5 2.7ghz / G5 11.2 2.3ghz

Then have fun with the G5 :)

My Mac Pro has been sitting in the attic for years
I just cleaned it up and I want to use it with MorphOS so I can play old Amiga games when I have time
I tried it with a G4 Power Mac before, but it was really slow! There were some 2DS games that ran sluggishly on it. :D
I hope I won't have such problems with the g5. Later, if there is 3D support for HD cards on MorphOS, I will buy a video card that also has an HDMI connection.
HD video cards require an additional power supply, which I don't know yet, how where will I get it from on the G-5 motherboard?
If I remember correctly, the G5 Power Mac motherboard does not have a connector for the additional power supply for the video card.
Maybe I'll run the wires from the power supply to the 6-pin connector.

Not correct, it has a 6-pin connector on the logic board if you have a PowerMac 11.2 PCI-E.

    Yes, it's an 11.2 machine
but where do I find the connector?
    I'll check the motherboard!

Between the fan with the built-in speaker and the PCI card holder, below the DVD-ROM.

There is indeed a connector there but unfortunately I don't have a cable with such a connector
You can probably get it on Ebay

Will that be enough for all cards?

Radeon x1300 arrived today and it doesn't work
I've already spent a fortune on video cards hoping to finally get the machine working, I'm getting bored
MorphOS started loading from the CD, which the CD drive also indicated with a flashing LED, but after a few flashes it stopped, as if MorphOS was not compatible with the computer itself.

Unfortunately the x1300 has a heatsink that I couldn't put in the bottom pci-e slot because it didn't fit!
the nvidia was placed in the bottom rail and the x1300 above it but there's no image and when I looked at the osx hardware info it didn't even see the x1300
If I remove the HDD and only the MorphOS installation CD remains, it should automatically boot from the CD, right?
So MOS should boot without nvidia
I think the nvidia is only needed until I install the MOS system and then only the Radeon card should remain. However, I tried the card with MacPro 5.1 and it doesn't give a picture there either! Open core is installed so if the card worked then there would be a picture
unfortunately they cheated me with this card :(

Take out the plastic deflector (I know the fans will rage, but it's just for testing) and put the X1300 in the bottom PCI-e slot. Then try to boot MorphOS and report what happens.

The card cannot fit into the lower rail because it is obstructed by the processor separator plate.

I removed the cooling on the bottom of the card so it fit in the lower pcie rail and put the nvidia in the one above it and connected the monitor to it
so there was only a black screen and after a while the fans started spinning up!
After I took out the Radeon card it worked again so unfortunately there is a problem with the video card
